This Black Angus MB3+ Bavette Steak is a premium but not over the top cut that sits in a really nice sweet spot between flavour, price and versatility. Bavette is essentially a flank-style steak (sometimes called flap or skirt). It comes from the abdominal area beneath the loin. It is a rather flat cut with coarse and open grain designed more for flavour than pure tenderness. With the marble score of 3+, it gives more juiciness than lean grass- fed cuts.
